Go Tech Launches funtab 7.1 fusion and 7.1 fonetab For ₹4000 and ₹7000

Low-cost Android tablets come with 7″ screens, allow video chat with front camera.

Go Tech has added a couple of more models to the inexpensive tablet pool with the launch of the funtab 7.1 fusion and 7.1 fonetab . The 7.1 fusion is priced at Rs 4000, while the 7.1 fonetab at Rs 7000 comes with a SIM slot for cellular data connectivity. In addition to the above, it plans to launchas many as four more tablets this year. The company aims to sell up to 10,000 units of these Android devices in the next three months.
The 7.1 fusion comes with Android 2.3 , while the 7.1 fonetab has Android 2.2 , and both are powered by an 800MHz CPU. Sporting a 7″ screen with pixel dimensions of 800×480, the fusion has 256 MB RAM, 2 GB internal memory expandable to 32 GB via microSD, Wi-Fi connectivity, front VGA camera for video calling, and a 2800 mAh battery. The fonetab, on the other hand, has 4 GB internal memory, a SIM slot that makes it possible to place mobile calls, and a 3600 mAh battery, while the rest of the specifications remain the same as that of the fusion.

The company also features another interesting tablet, based on Android 2.3.1 , named funtab 9.1 fantasy on its website. This one features better specs such as a 9.1″ capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory expandable to 32 GB, front VGA and rear 2 MPcameras, gyro sensors, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, support for 3G via external USB modem, support for multiple audio and video formats, 1080p video playback capability via HDMI,and a 5200 mAh battery that claims to provide 12+ hours of battery backup. There is no information about when this tablet will debut, but we think it would be worth a wait.
